Enjoy a relaxing meal in our restaurant with panoramic views of Pollan Bay and rolling hills of Donegal. Choose from either a 5-course table d’hote or an A La Carte menu. Indeed if you prefer a more informal atmosphere why not try our extensive bar food menu or Early Bird Special.

WHAT TO DO
Golf: Known locally as the “ The Golfers Hotel”, The Strand can offer you golf on both of Ballyliffin’s Famous Championship Standard Golf Links or on other courses scattered around the Inishowen Peninsula.
The Ballyliffin Golf Club plays host to one of the biggest pro-am in Ireland and Britain.
Walking: If you prefer to explore the unsurpassed variety of Balliffin’s scenery you may take a ramble through our Mountains, Bays & Bogs and even view Clonmany's very own Glenevin Waterfall, perhaps a stroll through Mamore Gap or across the beautiful Pollan Bay.
Angling: Our mountain rivers are renowned for their Trout. Salmon & Sea Anglers will be equally delighted with the waters surrounding Inishowen. A days angling can be organised on the nearby Pollan Dam Complex. Angling Equipment can be hired locally.
Bird watching: For the budding Ornithologist, most of Inishowen has been designated a European Special Area of Conservation. This area is a haven for migrating birds and indigenous wildlife. Over 100 species of bird and fowl can be sighted at any time of the year.
Cycling: Ballyliffin is an excellent base for cyclists touring Inishowen. The peninsula offers winding roads, countless small hills, breathtaking scenery and a leisurely way of life.
